We are happy to announce Blake McVicker is the newest addition to the Lane-Scott crew! Blake was hired as a fourth year Apprentice Lineman and will be able to test for his Journeyman certification next February. Many of you might know Blake as a Ness county native, having grown-up in southwest Ness county and graduating from Ness City High School in 2013. After graduation, Blake immediately pursued his path to become a lineman. He attended the Rocky Mountain Lineman School in Colorado Springs, completing the fifteen-week Merchant program. He then spent the next four years gaining experience by contracting and traveling with Great Southwest Construction Inc., High Power Distribution, Renewable Energy Service, and BHI. He then went to work for Wheatland Electric Cooperative at their Garden City location. Blake is excited to be back home and is looking for a house or land to build on in southwest Ness county where he can plant his own roots!
