Reminder of the upcoming Feb. 2 deadline for Sophomore and Junior students in our service territory to apply for this year's Electric Cooperative Youth Tour and Cooperative Youth Leadership Camp.

Also included is information on how to sign-up for the Lane-Scott Electric AutoPay Program to have your bill automatically withdrawn from your bank account each month and article, "Winter Safety When Working Outdoors".

March 2026 Newsletter

The Lane-Scott Electric March Newsletter as featured in the centerfold of the Kansas Country Living magazine includes an article about Lane-Scott's recognition by NRECA for the recent innovation and evolution at Lane-Scott, "Keeping the Lights On - 2025 Reliability Update", and an article about Portable Power Stations for Power Outages.

Also included is recognition of Lane-Scott trustee, Randy J. Evans, for completing his Credentialed Cooperative Director certificate from NRECA ,and apprentice linemen Bailey Wells and Taylor Cable who completed 3-phase and metering training. 

Finally, there is member notice of the end of the Lane-Scott Cold Weather Rule on March 15.
