Pay Ahead Power
Pay Ahead Power is a member managed program that gives members control of their electric account. There is no deposit, no late fees, no due date, and no monthly statement. You decide when and how much electricity to purchase. This program is only available for residential meters, and you must complete a Pay Ahead Power Service Agreement before beginning.
Pay Ahead Power members must create a SmartHub account, which is our online member account management website and app, to monitor your electricity use and account balance. Read our comprehensive Pay Ahead Power Member Manual for all the details or call the office.
Budget Billing
Available for members with a residential service who prefer to pay the same amount each month. Budget billing helps keep costs under control during seasonal highs and lows. The payment amount is determined by taking the average of your monthly payments from the previous year (October - September). Payments are reevaluated each year based on the previous year's electricity use.
In order to apply you must have been a cooperative member for at least one year with a electric usage history for the residential meter.
Your bill will reflect the actual usage amount compared to your budget billing amount. Each member is still responsible for the energy they consume over the 12-month period.
