The Lane-Scott Electric Coop Annual Meeting is held each year at the Lane County Fairgrounds the Tuesday before the fair. This year the meeting will be July 20th, 2021. The meeting is held to elect trustees who's term limits have expired, inform members of activity from the past year, provide the financial status, and address any other business. Those who attend enjoy a complimentary catered meal, prizes, and fair rides!
Your Vote is Important
Purchasing electricity from Lane-Scott Electric gives you membership in the cooperative. As a member, you have voting rights. This democratic right, which includes one vote by every cooperative member - is one of several important differences between electric cooperatives and investor-owned electric utilities. Your vote is important to elect trustees who value your way of life and will represent you as a member of an electric cooperative. Members of the board are responsible for directing business and affairs of the cooperative. Click Here to See the 2021 Trustee nominee's biographies.
Another important role as a voting member is deciding on bylaw amendments and policies. Read the proposed bylaw amendments that will be voted on during the annual meeting on July 20th.
