72nd Annual Meeting Highlights

The 72nd Annual Meeting of Lane-Scott Electric was held July 19, 2022 at the Lane Co. Fairgrounds. Despite the scorching hot temperatures, approximately 400 Lane-Scott members and guests gathered for a complimentary barbecue dinner and free fair rides. Labor Day Office Closing

Hay is for Horses: Use extreme caution near power lines

Hay is an essential item on any farm or ranch, but be careful near overhead power lines. 

  • Be aware of overhead power lines when moving bales of hay.

  • Tarps that cover hay can come loose in heavy winds, be whipped into power lines and cause an outage.

  • Do not store hay bales underneath power lines. Downed lines could spark a fire and ignite the bales.
