Retirements at Lane-Scott Electric
Harold Hoss has been a dedicated member of the Board of Trustees for 39 years. He was elected to the board in 1985 representing the Ness and Rush County District. Mr. Hoss served with the 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam War. Upon his return, he finished his degree in elementary education from the Emporia State Teacher’s College. He taught school and farmed for three years, at which point farming won-out and has devoted his time towards farming and his family.
Kalo Mann, one of our skilled master electricians, is retiring as an employee of Lane-Scott Electric after 30 years. Kalo served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1978-1984, then worked for different electrical contractors in Kansas before settling at Lane-Scott in 1994. His experience and expertise in his field will be greatly missed.
We wish both Mr. Hoss and Mr. Mann the very best in their retirement after their many years of dedication to the cooperative and our members.
