Our youth are the leaders and workforce of tomorrow. Lane-Scott has always believed in the education of our local youth through scholarships, sponsorship of the Washington DC Youth Tour, Cooperative Leadership Camp, Electrathon, and Kid Wind program.
For the last two years, the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour and Electric Cooperative Leadership Camp trips were cancelled due to coronavirus concerns.
This year, the Cooperative Leadership Camp in Steamboat Springs is being offered, but due to continued concerns for restrictions in Washington, DC, Lane-Scott is not participating in the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour. Those funds will once again be used to offer six $1,500 continuing education scholarships!
