Keeping the Lights On: Lane-Scott Electric’s 2025 Reliability Update
Lane-Scott Electric Cooperative continued to deliver highly reliable electric service to our members in 2025. The average member experienced fewer than one outage for the year, with most interruptions caused by broken equipment or unavoidable factors such as weather and major events.
Despite these challenges, total outage time was 26% below the 10-year average, making 2025 our fourth-lowest year for outages and our best year for controllable outages.
Our Average Service Availability Index (ASAI) reached 99.97%, meaning members had power available nearly all the time. These results reflect our ongoing commitment to system maintenance, infrastructure improvements, and proactive planning to ensure safe, dependable electric service for our cooperative members.
