Working Together to Lower Demand

Seasonal weather patterns and people's energy consumption patterns affect the demand put on our electric grid. Lane-Scott Electric in coordination with our generation and transmission provider work together to provide you with reliable electricity. However, it's important to remember our local system is part of a much larger regional and national electric grid.

Lane-Scott Electric Accepting Continuing Education Scholarship Applications

Lane-Scott Electric is accepting applications from current high school graduates and students already attending a higher education program. There are six $1,500 scholarships available for the 2026-2027 school year. The application deadline is March 27.

Sophomore and Junior high school students can now apply for the Lane-Scott Electric sponsored, all-expenses-paid Electric Cooperative Youth Tour in Washington, D.C. and the Cooperative Youth Leadership Camp near Steamboat Springs, CO.
