Bailey Wells Hired as Apprentice Lineman
Lane county native, Bailey Wells, joins Lane-Scott Electric as the newest apprentice lineman. Bailey graduated from Dighton High School in 2015, then joined the United States Navy in 2016. He served as an aviation ordnanceman, building bombs for fighter jets in the G-3 Division, Weapons Department until 2020. When asked what he most liked about being in the Navy, he said, “Getting to meet people of different backgrounds and cultures.” Following his time in the Navy, he worked as a telecommunications lineman in Ft. Wayne, Indiana for almost 3 years. While in Indiana he was lucky to have found his now fiancé, Kendyl Paulie, who ironically has family in Ness City!
The couple moved back to Dighton where Bailey worked for a farmer for almost two years, then JKL Associates in Scott City before the position at Lane-Scott became available.
He said working at Lane-Scott is a great opportunity to expand his career and serve the community he grew-up in. Bailey is a great addition to Lane-Scott Electric and we are happy to have him join our team!
