Working on the Line
On June 29, an isolated storm broke 24 double-circuit poles on Hwy 4 in Scott County, leaving nearly 900 meters without power. Lines were temporarily back-fed to restore electricity to the majority of members while Lane-Scott crews and neighboring cooperative, Wheatland Electric, replaced poles and downed lines. Thank you to Wheatland Electric for the mutual aid and the famers who assisted our crews in the muddy conditions.
