Lane-Scott Electric is Looking for Leaders
The members who make-up the Lane-Scott Electric Board of Trustees hold a vital position at our electric cooperative. This year, two of the three Trustee's whose terms are expiring are stepping down from the board. This means we are in need of new leadership to serve in this very important role!
If interested call Lane-Scott Electric by April 26, 2023 to be considered by the nominating committee!

How Are We Doing?
Lane-Scott Electric is committed to continually improving our programs, services, and the way we serve you, our members. The only way to find out how we're doing and what areas you would like improvement on, is to ask!
Some of you may be contacted to complete a Member Satisfaction Survey this month. The surveyors will randomly select 250 of our residential members to complete an online survey. If not enough responses are gathered, phone calls will be made.
Thank you to those who participate, we know your time is valuable!

Credits Issued to Lane-Scott Members from Winter Storm Uri Settlement
Lane-Scott Electric members were issued a credit on the ECA portion of their March bills as a pass-through for billing adjustments from Sunflower Electric Power Corporation. Sunflower has been tracking cumulative cost adjustments after the Winter Storm Uri occurred in February 2021. While this credit doesn't compare to the total cost of the storm, it is a small victory we will gladly pass along to our members.
Lineworker Appreciation Day
Electric lineworkers provide an essential service: They install and maintain overhead and underground power lines that keep our electricity flowing. These specialized workers are on call 24/7 in case severe storms or other circumstances cause the power to go out. We salute our lineworkers on April 10 and every day!
