Outage Text and E-mail Notifications

Members can now sign-up to receive Outage notifications by text message or e-mail. It is easy to do, but you must be signed up on SmartHub, Lane-Scott's account management portal, and you must opt-in to receive text messages. For those signed-up for SmartHub already:

1. Go to "Notifications"

2. Select "Service"

3. Select Alert Types, Phone #, and E-mail Address to receive notifications to.

Working on the Line

Linemen Kevin Bradstreet and Dal Hawkinson volunteered for the High Voltage Safety Demonstration at the State Fair. Every year, utility employees from around the state volunteer to work shifts for the demo. 

Strengthening Our Infrastructure

Lane-Scott's ultimate goal is to provide reliable, safe electricity for our members. To accomplish this goal, our infrastructure plan includes hardening the system by strategically installing iron poles as wood poles are replaced. Iron poles are proven to last longer and be more resilient to the harsh Western Kansas elements.
