Michael Wehkamp Biography

Michael Wehkamp

Michael Wehkamp was born and raised in Finney County. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness from Kansas State University before returning home to manage the family farm. Michael, along with his wife Catharine and their two children, operate both irrigated and dryland acres, and they market beef directly to consumers under the MC Farms brand.

The Wehrkamp’s are active members of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Ingalls, where Michael serves on the finance council. He also volunteers as a firefighter for Garfield Township.

Michael would be honored to serve Lane-Scott and is committed to preserving its integrity and functionality as a true cooperative.
