Lane-Scott to Implement Demand Rates
Beginning with July bills (June usage), new rates will be in effect for Lane-Scott Electric members. This will include a demand charge to residential, domestic, and general service small connects that have not previously had a demand charge.

The full revised rate schedule approved by the Lane-Scott Electric Board of Trustees will be printed in the June Kansas Country Living magazine. In the meantime, the rates as proposed to the board, as well as additional demand explanation, and the cost of service study can be found HERE

Do Not Overlook Overhead Power Lines
It can be easy to over look things that we see every day, including overhead power lines. However, failure to notice overhead lines can be deadly. If you or an object you are touching contacts or gets too close to a power line, you can be seriously injured or killed.
Be mindful of overhead power lines when completing these tasks.

Calls received M-F 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. will be handled by Lane-Scott office personel. A dispatch service is available for calls outside of business hours.
