Lane-Scott Electric are very excited to announce we now have a Live Outage Map available for anyone to access. The map shows at any time the general location of outages on our system. We have been working on updating and utilizing the many aspects of our operations software over the past couple of years and are now ready to share some of our progress! One of our seven cooperative principles is “Concern for Community”. We hope that providing this level of transparency will better serve our members, our communities, and our emergency responders whenever power outages occur.
The outage map will show the general location of current outages. Meters are grouped together by county, listing the total number of meters that are out. Due to security protocol, we are not able to show outages at a meter level, but this will give you a general idea as to the location and size of the outage. These enhancements may be a very beneficial tool for many of our members with multiple meters scattered about our service area.
The outage map can be viewed by anyone using our www.lanescott.coop website or Lane-Scott members can also access it through the SmartHub website and smart phone app.

- View meter level outage details in the “My Services Overview” on the phone app, or “Track Issue Status” in “Report and Issue/Inquire” on the website.
- Receive an automated phone call when power has been restored.

The SmartHub portal can be accessed through our website www.lanescott.coop or www.lanescott.smarthub.coop. We are happy to help walk anyone through signing-up and have step by step instructions available. SmartHub has other valuable tools available to help you control your electric account such as online bill pay, usage history, billing history, autopay sign-up, and the ability to choose various notifications from Lane-Scott.
